Student Athlete Eligibility
CVHS Plan
Grades are pulled on all student/athletes during the season on a weekly basis. If a student has two or more F’s, then the student/athlete is ineligible to participate in any competitions the following Monday- Saturday. Practice is at the coach’s discretion.
CHSAA Plan
Student/Athlete’s must pass 2.5 Carnegie units from terms 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 to be able to participate in the up coming season. For all of fall sports, we use grades from terms 3 and 4. For all winter and spring sports, we use grades from terms 1 and 2. If the student/athlete does not pass 2.5 Carnegie units during the 3 and 4 term he/she may take summer school courses and complete them by the Friday before Labor Day to re-earn the 2.5 necessary units.
Sabercat Booster Club
The Sabercat Booster Club is our organization that approves all fundraising events for all CVHS Athletic, Activities and Clubs. The purpose of this organization is to create a equitable experience for all CVHS students and programs. The Sabercat Booster Club meets the second Wednesday of every month in the CVHS library. Public is always welcome.
